HEVC/H.265 import and validation from MPEG Transport Stream and MP4 container
HEVC Validation update has been released. It is available in the latest version of HEVC/H.265 Video ES Viewer. The solution has been extended to support import of HEVC video elementary streams from MPEG-2 Transport Stream and from MP4 based media container files. The integrated demultiplexing mechanism makes it even more easily to analyze HEVC streams directly from the currently most popular containers, MP2 and MP4 for HEVC streams.
Additionally the HEVC/H.265 Video analysis has been extended to validate HEVC streams directly from MPEG-2 Transport Stream and MP4 media files, with the integrated demultiplexing mechanism. The HEVC validation is available in AtomBox Studio Pro/Ultimate and MediaValidator solutions.
Some of the features of the HEVC Video Validation module:
– Decoding of Main and Main 10 profile compliant streams (8- and 10-bit resolution)
– Decoding of Main and Main 10 profile compliant streams (8- and 10-bit resolution)
– Temporal Scalability with up to 3 temporal layers support.
– Validation of streams with Tiles and Slices.
– Validation of streams with Scaling List / Matrix.
– Validation of streams with Weighted Prediction, PCM Coding, Temporal Scalability, Transquant Bypass and Shallow Transform Tree.
– Multi-threaded HEVC stream validation for multi-core systems.
