DV Video Validation in AVI Viewer Pro

DV Video Validation has been added in our AVI Viewer solution.

Being one of the oldest multimedia containers, the AVI is also known as one of the main containers used with DV video compression. AVI Viewer is a one of a kind solution, which enables RIFF AVI and DivX containers streams investigation and validation. The Pro option of the product now enables DV streams verification and validation. Supported streams are Consumer DV 25 Mbps compliant with IEC-61834 specification, DVCPRO 25/50 Mbps compliant with SMPTE 314M, and DVCPRO HD in 720 50/60p and 1080 50/60i compliant with SMPTE 370M specification.

Video frames with errors, incorrect structures and changing stream parameters are easily detected with the new DV video validation module. Each validation check and informational field of the validation module is configurable, which makes it easier to integrate the product with any third-party system and in any workflow. The validation process is faster than the real-time media file duration and depends on the system resources.

The validation module is available for manual validation and verification in the AVI Viewer Pro application, and is also available for automated verification and validation in the Media Validator solution.
