AVC, AAC, MP2V and MPA validation options for MPEG TS Utils Pro

AVC, AAC, MP2V and MPA validation option have been released in our MPEG TS Utils. 

MPEG Transport Stream is the most popular stream-based container used for media transmission in error prone environment, such as IP and satellite workflows. The container is also used in the latest disk storage and camera technologies like Blu-ray Disk Video, AVCHD and HDV.

MPEG TS Utils is an easy to use MPEG Transport Stream viewer, analyzer, utility for stream manipulation and validation. Except the MPEG Transport Stream validation, the Pro version of the product now offers separate options for audio and video elementary streams validation. The AVC, AAC, MP2V and MPA validation option supports are AVC/H.264 video, MPEG-2 video, AAC audio and MPEG Layer I/II audio elementary streams validation. The AVC/H.264 video stream validation is according the ISO/IEC 14496-10 specification, the MPEG-2 video stream validation is according to the ISO/IEC 13818-2 specification, the AAC audio stream validation is according the ISO/IEC 13818-7 specification and the MPEG audio stream validation is according the ISO/IEC 11172-3 and ISO/IEC 13818-3 specifications.

Audio and video frames with errors, incorrect structures and changing stream parameters are easily detected with the new AVC, AAC, MP2V and MPA validation modules. Each validation check and informational field of the validation module is configurable, which makes it easier to integrate the product with any third-party system and in any workflow. The validation process is faster than the real-time media file duration and depends on the system resources.

The AVC, AAC, MP2V and MPA validation modules are available for manual validation and verification in the MPEG TS Utils Pro solution, and are also available for automated verification and validation in the Media Validator solution.
